Jeremie Kayeye was named as Lead Assistant Coach to the men’s basketball team staff in July, 2020. 

Kayeye supported the team throughout the 2021-22 season, as the Rams worked through injury, a rebuilt roster, and COVID-related challenges to seek out wins game after game. The team posted a 9-7 regular and postseason record, focusing on internal adjustments and chemistry throughout Fall 2021, and making a push for playoffs to clinch a postseason berth and end the season a much-improved and refined team.

Prior to Ryerson, Kayeye spent the last four years as head coach and director of basketball operations with TRC Academy of the Ontario Scholastic Basketball Association (OSBA).

Kayeye also coached Team Ontario’s U15 men’s squad to a silver medal at the 2019 Canadian Championship. His past experience also includes serving as an assistant coach with the Mississauga Power of the National Basketball League of Canada (NBL) as well as basketball operations assistant for Raptors 905.
